	News Transitional Opportunities at Freedom Station Board of Directors announced today the beginning of fund raising efforts for the new Freedom Station Project in San Diego, California. According to Sandy Lehmkuhler, Vice President of Freedom Station USA, there are a small number of sites under consideration. Freedom Station will be a short term residence and transitional assistance facility for our wounded and injured military. The goal is to open this center during the next 12 months, so that recovering Marines, Navy, and Army injured can take advantage of job opportunities, counseling, skills training, and adjustment from the challenges of their injuries and military life to that of productive citizen.
